MGP Revives Revisted Program

MGP(Mighty Goliath Productions) is bringing back a tradition to Avon Lake during the weekend of homecoming festivities. In years past MGP has presented a dinner theatre to the public at the United Church of Christ social hall for the purpose of entertaining patrons with Broadway Show tunes from shows that they have done and may do in the future and also to announce the next year's show that they will present in the spring.

There have been many requests to bring back this successful dinner theatre of the past, and efforts are being put into place to do just that. This year's dinner theatre will be presented in the United Church of Christ social hall on Electric Blvd. Saturday September 29 at 7:00 pm And it promises to be a good food and fun filled evening for all who will attend. Highlighting the festivities will be a wonderful door prize donated to MGP by local artist Kathy Rodgers. This door prize is a pastel portrait finished size 16 x 20 completely matted and framed including a maxium of two subjects to be given to one lucky dinner theatre patron.

Tickets are 15.00 per person and can be reserved by calling Sheila, 440-930-2886 daytime and Eileen, evening 440-933-4819. Only 150 tickets will be sold, so reserve yours right away. Don't miss out on this opportunity for great meal, great entertainment and a chance to win a beautiful portrait. Mighty Goliath Productions, most often refered to as MGP is a musical theatre company that contributes funds towards the performing arts department of the Avon Lake High School as well as the endowment fund for the Avon Lake Public Schools.
