2025-2026 Shiny Penny Photography Internship

Mighty Goliath Productions is proud to partner with Shiny Penny Studios to offer a Photography Internship for high school or college-aged students participating in our 2025–2026 season. This opportunity is part of the Shiny Penny Studios Visual Arts Internship, created in memory of Andy Dudik, beloved MGP photographer and mentor whose legacy of creativity and kindness continues to inspire.

This internship is ideal for students interested in photography, digital media, and storytelling. Interns will receive hands-on experience using professional photography equipment and will help document the rehearsal and production process for our upcoming community theater season.

Working under the one-on-one mentorship of a professional photographer, the intern will learn:

  • Digital photography and camera operation

  • Composition and lighting

  • Editing with industry-standard software

  • Storytelling through visual documentation

  • Portfolio development and curation

The internship will culminate in a complete portfolio of behind-the-scenes and production photography—perfect for use in college or job applications.

🎓 Scholarship Opportunity:

The selected intern will receive a $500 scholarship, generously funded by Shiny Penny Studios in honor of Andy Dudik.

Eligibility:

  • High school or college-aged students

  • Must be participating in or affiliated with the 2025 Mighty Goliath Productions season

  • Interest in photography or visual arts preferred—no prior experience required
